flower made both of these in preschool last year. she made lots of great things but these were my favorite! i finally picked up two cheap-o frames(which i hate) from the dollar store just to prevent them from getting ruined. but i really want to frame them in black. but either way...i love them!

I'd try spray painting them in black. I'll bet they'd look great or at least you'd like them better.
