Flower's Nicknames

River wrote Flower's name on her card.  This takes me to Flower's nicknames.  When River was just learning to talk she couldn't say 'flower' and it came out 'wowie'.  Then as she talked a bit better it became 'flowie' until eventually she could say Flower.  However, the nicknames stuck and we've called her wowie or flowie throughout her life. Just in the last 6 months she has been bothered by it and thinks we are making fun of her. We keep trying to explain that they are a term of endearment and we use these nicknames because we love her.  Then River wrote Flower's name on the envelope....Flomer. We told Flower we'd just start calling her Flomer instead and all of a sudden she loves Flowie!  Hahaha.  I love that all of her nicknames have been due to River.
