annual pumpkin carving

on october 23rd we got home from our california adventure and pretty much went right over to the pumpkin carving. due to that it wasn't our best year because we weren't prepared. the girls fell asleep on the way and slept in the car for a bit after we arrived. :)








laura helped gut ours to try and help us get a move on.


sandee and the kids joined us as well.

there's always a yummy spread of homemade chili and such.
the girls had fun doing theirs and kg's was set to be amazing but he just couldn't finish it. usually we have the pumpkins hollowed out prior to going to make the carving go more smoothly.








we still had a blast and love this tradition!
