Fondue and Mamma Mia

Friday night some of my favorite girls came over for fondue and Mamma Mia. We had cheese and chocolate fondue and a smorgasbord of things to dip. The cast of characters included my mom, Alyse, Lauren, Victoria, Sandee, Kas, Amanda, Lorelai and friend Jen. I loved when Jen was leaving she mentioned she didn't realize it was a family affair and my mom quickly pointed out that once you've come you are quickly adopted into the family and she is welcome anytime. That's how I feel! I cannot express enough how much I love my mom, sisters and nieces. I've had lots of friends and extended family members express to me over the years that they move away from their families in order to get along. That is certainly not the case here. My parents and all my siblings live here and I wouldn't want it any other way. We always get along and have a great time together. I don't remember the last time we had contention of any kind in our family. We support each other and love each other. We have all received help of some kind or another from each other over the years and it's nice to know they are always there! I'm so glad my girls came over! This was also River's first girls night! :) (Except when KG came into the kitchen to make us more cheese fondue and I was happy to have him!)
