company par-tay!

february 1st we were treated to barbacoa for our company party. it was delayed from the holidays. we were originally going to go sledding but since we never got enough snow we went to dinner. it was awesome! barbacoa is one of the most amazing places. the decor and art is outstanding.
they have the biggest pepper grinder i have ever seen.

they have three different kinds of salt-black, pink and white. mike tasted tested them all.
hot rock steak, it comes out on a rock they light on fire. the rock heats up to an insane temperature.
all of their meals have such an amazing presentation. julie's was the best.

i got a half rack of ribs. it was huge!

kg is always good for a laugh. he got a quail with his meal which was unexpected but he handled it well. ;)

lynnette(my boss) and ricardo(maintenance man) were dates that night because their dates couldn't make it.
mike and julie(she is one of our cleaners).

tina(our cleaner) and her two sons and boyfriend troy.
we had the best waitress! she was so impressive! she always had a big smile.
lynnette ordered a couple of desserts for the table to share. the cotton candy comes with a lit candle in the middle of it.
the lollipop tree which is fried ice cream on a stick. yum!


everything was so delicious and the company was so fun! we had a great night. i've been at my job for 4 years! i'm so grateful for it. kg and i were realizing that this is the longest i've ever been at a job in my life! every other job i've had since high school i stayed at for 3 years each; martinizing, madison's, hp, big sky catering, and parklane. maybe i get a 3 year itch? i do remember wanting a change about this time last year but since there was nothing wrong with the job it made it easy to get through that itch and stay! i really do love my job and the people i work with.
