My Dad.
Last Friday my dad called and asked if he could take Flower and I to lunch. Of course! We walked to Pie Hole and met him there. I just love watching both sets of our parents interact with Flower. It deepens the love I already feel for them. She looked so cute eating her pizza and playing with Papa. He has this ring with a ruby that he has worn for years on his right ring finger. I have watched him play this game, with all my nieces and nephews, that when they touch the ruby he makes an obnoxious noise and shakes his hand in an attempt to scare them. It works and they giggle wildly and go back for more. I was so excited it was about to be her turn with the game when she started reaching for Papa's ring. It was so cute. He and I had a great laugh at her expense. Unfortunately she wasn't as amused. It genuinely scared her. She did laugh but so she didn't go back for more. Some day. It was sure entertaining for us though. I love my Dad.

Dads are so cool. Total Daddy's girl here. Cute pics, by the way.
I saw your post about your dad. I am a New York Times bestselling author working on a new book about father-daughter relationships and thought you might want to contribute. Please visit my page for details about submitting stories for Daddy's Little Girl.
