River is 10 Months Old.

We are definitely seeing white water rapids River now. She doesn't stop moving and it's a bumpy ride. She had her first bloody nose, which happened in the bath tub, and her first goose egg on the her forehead, which happened at work. She definitely leaves a path of destruction in her wake, like opening a closed bottle of pink nail polish and unloading it's contents on our bedroom floor. Where was I you might ask? Laying in the bed. Flower and I were watching a show. She had grabbed it off the night stand I guess and I didn't realize she had it until I began to smell the fumes. She's a sneaky one that's for sure. And gosh dang we love her!

You will see a theme throughout this post. And if you don't...run as fast as you can to your nearest eye doctor cause you need them babies checked.

She'll pretty much eat anything we put in front of her and she usually feeds herself. We have moved to all solid foods because she is struggling with throwing up because of too many liquids in her tummy. So no more baby food for her.
She loves egg yolks, zucchini, kidney beans, noodles, chicken, frozen peas(I think they help her sore gums), rice, cottage cheese, yogurt, cheese, pears, peaches, bacon, and lots more.

She does some really weird, cute faces when she's eating. Especially when new teeth are coming in. With each bite she uses her tongue and pushes the food against her gums. Very cute.
She loves to make lots of sounds with her mouth, like beating her fist against it to make the bah bah bah sounds. She also likes us to tap her mouth or use our finger against her lips.
She says mamma, dadda, bah bah.
Oh look. In the photo below her right dimple has decided to make an appearance. Most people don't know she has two.
She loves her cheese sticks.

She finishes hers before Flower and then goes after Flower's. Flower usually gives in and then gets a new one.
She's on her second.

She waves hello by raising her arm straight up in the air. It looks a little Hitler-esque.
She waves good-bye by swinging her arm.

She's still very attached to her white blanket. So much so that when I take it out of her crib, becasue I can't stand the smell anymore, and put it in the washer she cries, and then every so often she goes to the washer and she pounds on it. When we pull it out of the dryer, it's like being reunited with a long lost friends. She bites it and swings her head back and forth like a dog, rubs it all over her face, and dive bombs into it.
So did you see the theme? Yep, it's the tongue. We see a lot of that thing lately. She is playing with the two new teeth she's pushing through on the bottom. That gives her eight.
We are so grateful to have her in our family!
