This summer is full of family reunions! I think they are my favorite part of the summer! We had our first one this past weekend. It was the Jensen reunion which included anyone from Grandma Jensen on down. Here, the beautiful guest of honor herself!
It was held at the cabin in Idaho City. There was an excellent turn out! It was so great to see everyone, some traveling quite far!
We were super excited that Justin and Adam were able to come from Arizona. We were even more excited to meet the new girlfriend, Birgitta. She is pretty great and seems to make Justin really happen! He is probably going to kill me, but love really suits him! They just seem to compliment each other really well.
There was lots of hammock love! Let me tell you, there is nothing better then laying in a hammock with your sweet child, swaying in the summer breeze, singing songs together. It was magical! That hammock provided lots of entertainment as you can see! What a cute bunch of kids!
The kids had a great time beating the snot out of Spongebob! One adult had the pleasure of finishing him off! The kids scoured the lawn afterwards for all the candy loot. They all made out like bandits!
There was the annual 'guess the number of jelly bellies in the jar' contest.
Cousin Wendy was on Jelly Belly duty. As mom was counting, all the little kids kept asking for the Jelly Bellies so she finally put some in a cup and told Wendy to hand them out slowly. We got a big kick out this little guys determination
!
All in all I think everyone had a great time. In fact, most of them are still there and will enjoy 4th of July in the most perfect place! We, however, had to get back to work on Monday. Blah.
