book and cookie exchange

the night of december 23 kg took flower to the karate studio for a book and cookie exchange. the kids each brought one of their used books, wrapped. then they sat in a circle and got to pick a new book!

flower scored this really cute christmas mice book.

madison got flower's i spy book.

then they ran around and played.

the adults take a plate of cookies and leave with a plate of cookies.

i think this is such a great idea and we look forward to it each year.
