3.19.2010::takin' our show on the road!

on friday we took flower to school as usual, but then went and picked up the rental car and got all packed up. we picked her up from school at 11:15 and then we were on the road! we were so excited. i really needed this time away. and time to be with my little family.
we stopped in twin falls to have lunch.

here is our ride for the trip.
we decided to rent a car because we wanted to insure our safety and comfort.
it worked. :)

we arrived in ely, nevada around 6. we stayed at the historic hotel nevada. lots of charm! i loved it. the room was cool. we actually had two bedrooms.

the girls had bunk beds.

i loved the all white bathroom. i think river did too.

we walked across the street to have dinner at the happy garden. it was good.

then we walked around the hotel again.

unfortunately our bed wasn't super comfortable and it didn't fit the frame. nice. but the place was fun none the less. the next morning we ate breakfast in the hotel diner. i thought it was nasty! but on to vegas we went!
