a day with tianna

tianna is moving to another state soon and we are pretty sad about it. we invited her over for a day of fun on tuesday. after kg and flower were done with karate they picked up her up and the three of them went for free bowling! i was glad kg had his phone to take photos.


kg was struggling due to sore legs form his workout on monday. :)
without river there they were finally able to play two games!



a little bit better.
then they came to the clubhouse to swim. river joined them.
(i played around with some different lenses on my iphone. the first set are my favorite. i love the vintage-y feel.)
river gets in all on her own now.
and swims to the middle with just her and flower in the pool. crazy girl.
kg finally jumped in.
tianna was a bit nervous. her mom said she's a great swimmer and didn't need floaties but i think with it being such a big pool and being without her family, she was nervous. i ran home and grabbed flower's old floatie. we wanted her to have fun too!

tianna finally got brave. yay!

river goes back and forth from the pool to the hot tub.
both flower and tianna were going to jump in...tianna got scared and flower is the splash.

yay, tianna is in the water and having a good time.

i finally got a photo of all three girls together! not an easy feat. ;)
they swam until 4:00 and then went to see Marmaduke at the cheap theater. they all seemed to like it.
finally they picked me up and 6:00 and we all went to get a shaved ice. tianna said this was her first and she liked it. :)

we dropped tianna off at home and then went to dinner at teppanyaki before calling it a night.
perfect day filled with a good friend. we will miss tianna and her family!
