happy birthday katie!

last night we went to grandma and grandpa hunter's to celebrate katie's birthday. she is kg's cousin and here for the summer visiting her dad. she is such a cute girl and it was fun to have a reason to get together with the family.
we had dinner while we were there. apparently i wasn't shoveling the jello salad into river's pie hole fast enough so she grabbed the big serving spoon and helped herself.
katie got three or four variations of happy birthday songs sung to her.

it was a fun evening. :)
