Givens Hot Springs

Last Friday we grabbed a change of clothes, got in the bus and headed for Given's Hot Springs. This is my favorite part about having the bus. We have it loaded with toiletries, pillows, blankets, games, books, and food. All we have to do is bring a little more food and some clothes and we can leave at the drop of a hat. I chose this location because we had a wedding in Nampa on Saturday night and this would put us fairly close to that destination. We charged through a rain storm and arrived safe and sound. We then discovered Flower had a runny nose. It started to rain after we got there so we spent the night in the bus watching Arthur and the Invisibles. We really liked it. Since KG hadn't slept yet (he took Flower Halloween shopping rather then going to bed when he got home), we all fell asleep early. It was a good thing because Miss Thing woke up constantly from her now stuffy nose. Poor thing couldn't breath. The pool didn't open until noon so we slept on and off, lounging about and reading. Once Flower woke up at
1:30 pm we went swimming.

It was so nice to get into a perfectly warm pool. Not too hot, not too cold. I could have swam all night! But alas, we could not, as we had a wedding to attend. I got out and showered and then while I was getting ready, KG got Flower showered. I then watched Flower while I finished getting ready and KG showered. We all then went back to the bus, got dressed and were on our way with little effort.
We met the Goodsell's the wedding. The groom is a karate buddy of theirs. It was good to see Mitch there as well s the best man.

The wedding was beautiful. The perfect ceremony...short and sweet!

We had planned to go to dinner after the reception and were surprised by an unexpected full dinner. The Caesar Salad was the best part and scrumptious! We had a blast on the dance floor being amused by Flower's moves. After the wedding John and Lisa came over. We played a game of Mil Bourne and then they went home and we went to bed!
