Utah day three::Temple Square.

What better way to spend a Sunday then at Temple Square. Just as the day before, we didn't have enough time or energy to see it all. We spent about 4 hours there and didn't even get to half the buildings. We had a great time!

I love pipe organs. The horns going straight out are so neat.
And this pipe organ is just huge!

So sweet.

We went back to the tabernacle to listen to a thirty minute recital. The acoustics are amazing! You can hear a pin drop from 170 feet without a microphone, as they demonstrated. The recital was really beautiful. I love what they did with the lighting.

KG and Flower made their way to each level of the waterfall while the Goodsell's went to the basement of the Visitors Center!

They made it to the top!

We met up with the Goodsell's again.
I just adore these two together!

By this time we were all hungry, hot and tired. We decided to send KG and John to get the cars which were a long walk away. They also took Flower. I then took photos of Lisa and the boys making their way up each level of the waterfall.

And then I joined them to get some close up photos of the waterfalls.

We made our way back down and decided to go in and do the tour. We really wanted to see the gardens on the roof.
The new conference center is beautiful and huge! It seats 21,000 people for General Conference.
We made it to the roof.

The tour took sooo much longer then we thought it would. We had already been there for an hour! We actually asked the gal to skip two floors and take us to the roof because our men were waiting in their cars. They got back with the cars and still had to wait 30 minutes for us. There they are. They were happy to see we finally made it to the roof.
There we are, wayyyy up there lining the roof of the building!Finally we were on our way to food! We ate KG's birthday dinner at Winger's and then we were all the road by 6:00 pm headed for Boise.
We are thankful we were able to take this vacation with them and spend time together as families! We sure love them!
