Home again, Home again jiggity jog::day fifteen

KG says that line every time we pull into our driveway from vacation. We made it home safe and sound last night. We were going to stay in Burns or Vale but opted to come home and have an entire day at home before we each have to return to work tomorrow. I absolutely loved this trip and feel so grateful that we were able to go as a family and spend that much time together, just the three of us. One of my favorite things was how much reading time I had! KG drove the entire trip so that meant lots of time for me to read in the back. I read 10 magazines, finished my book 'A Cold Train Coming', and yes it took me forever because I just didn't make time for it but it was SO good and I highly recommend it! I also started 'I Heard That Song Before' just two days ago and finished it last night. It was so good and kept my interest hence the reason for finishing it so fast. I love a quick read. Like always, if anyone wants to borrow them, let me know.
We made so many memories and I can hardly wait to make the vacation book!
KG and I laid in bed till way to late last night/early this morning catching up on some of our favorite tv. We watched an episode of The Mole, 2 episodes of The Big Bang Theory, an episode of Psych, 2 episodes of My Boys, and I started watching the premier of Project Runway while KG was in the shower but once he came out we watched one of the above mentioned shows. I'm so excited for a new season! It was so nice to be back in our Tempur-pedic bed! It's nice to be home and get back on a schedule but it sucks to have to go back to work and the daily grind. I also am really looking forward to getting rid of the sugar again. I ate more then I hoped I would and man I can feel the difference. I was amazed but then not surprised at all how easy it was to slip back into old patterns once I had that first dessert. The cravings were crazy the rest of the trip. I'm actually excited now to get back to eating healthier and feeling better.
Here's to a great week ahead!
